Paul Mwebesa Kahigi. LLB(Hons)MUK, Dip.LP(LDC)

Mr. Kahigi is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and the subordinate Courts thereto.

He has distinguished himself in the field of Intellectual Property and Corporate Governance. He previously worked as a Legal Officer with Uganda Law Reform Commission.

He particularly worked as a researcher and coordinator of the Intellectual Property Reform Project. He also worked on the reform of the Company Law and Contract Law projects among others.

Mr. Kahigi holds a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property Law from Africa University, Zimbabwe held in conjunction with WIPO and ARIPO.

He also holds a Bachelors of Laws Degree from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Uganda Management Institute. He is currently finalizing a Masters in Managerial Studies from the Uganda Management Institute.
